Former chairman of the Division One League Board Ntow Fianko has backed the Ghana Football Association’s decision to ban division one league side Phar Rangers and its Board of directors.
The decision by the GFA has divided opinions but Mr. Fianko insists the decision is backed by law.
“The ban has come and it’s right because the club officially wrote to withdraw from all FA Competition so their second letter to rescind their decision was if no use.”
He added that “The Disciplinary Committee is just a servant of the law, they are not the law makers so the just act according to what the law state. And I will urged the players to file a petition at the FA for the Player Status Committee to declare them as free agent.”
Phar Rangers were handed a five-year ban from all Ghana Football Association (GFA) associated competitions after attempting to withdraw from the ongoing division one league.
