Ghana Football Association (GFA)President, Kwesi Nyantakyi, arrived in Italy on Wednesday to talk with Kevin Prince Boateng over his international future, says GHANAsoccernet.com.The FA boss was accompanied by assistant Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah to discuss the AC Milan midfielder’s recent attitude towards the national team. The two men travelled from Londonon Wednesday with the blessing of coach Goran Stevanovic who appalled by the player’s conduct towards the Black Stars.Nyantakyi and Appiah are expected to discuss the concerns of the player with all discreetness so as not to infuriate some players of the Black Stars team who are also unhappy with Boateng. It is not known what will be discussed at the meeting but Ghana are seeking to deploy their best players at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations where they will be seeking to win the tournament.Stevanovic became angry with Boateng after he failed to turn up for a scheduled meeting in Milan after the coach travelled to the European country. He failed to return the coach’s calls, a situation that seems to have resulted in Stevanovic's decision to exclude him from the squad until these differences are sorted out.But the GFA officials are cautious with their approach as many players of the Black Stars have quietly expressed worry over the German-born player’s commitment level to the Black Stars. There are fears that if he is treated with kid gloves, it could spark a revolt from other players who have been punished for being errant.Boateng is not the favourite of many fans who have questioned why he avoids difficult matches. The midfielder has rejected these accusations, insisting he is committed to the cause of the team. The GFA boss and coach Stevanovic insist they must send the country’s best players to the Cup of Nations but promise they will not compromise on team discipline.
