One hundred and ten physically challenged persons have been taken on for training by the National Youth Employment Program across the country.
They will after the training be given jobs especially under the teaching module of the program.
Youth President of the Ghana Association of the Blind, Adongo Jacobs, applauded the move saying is a significant step to compliment efforts at getting rid of beggars on streets.
He explained the details of the training programme in an interview with Joy News.
“What we are doing is that the various disability movement, we are giving them modules.
“Most of them always want to go into the teaching modules,” he said.
He added they will soon be drafted into the agric module.
