US president Barrack Obama has promised to swap team jerseys with president Mills when the two meet.
According to the white house, the two presidents have agreed earlier to exchange the jerseys in “the spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship.”
The US for the second time running exited the World Cup thanks to a 1-2 loss to Ghana.
Mr. Obama is said to have described the loss as nerve-wracking whiles watching the match.
White house says President Obama had to take time off at the G8 summit in Canada to sit in a side room at a hotel where he was holding bilateral meetings with his Asian counterparts, to catch some of the game in between meetings.
Sitting a few feet away from a large flat-screen TV, the president watched with his National Security Council spokesman, Mike Hammer.
