Accra Hearts of Oak will on Thursday 24th July 2014, confirm Coach Herbert Addo as their new manager.
Herbert will replace Mohamed Polo and will stay at the club for 2-years.
Herbert Addo has agreed on a 2-year deal with the Phobians and is expected to be unveiled on Friday when he is introduced to the Hearts squad at the team’s training grounds at ATTC.
The former Inter Allies head Coach is also said to have agreed on a monthly salary of GH₵8,000 and an enticement fee of GH₵25,000.
“We will confirm Herbert as the manager of the team after our Board meeting on Thursday afternoon. We have agreed on every aspect of the contract and it has been signed and sealed.
He emerged as the best candidate amongst the lot that applied for this job. We have given him his targets and we expect him to achieve them including introducing young talents into our team” a Hearts Board member told sportscrusader.com in an exclusive interview.
Herbert will be assisted by Stephen Abugri with Sabahn Quaye as the Team Manager.
The Phobians are said to have tasked Herbert Addo to win the next Premier League Competition and as well qualify the team to the money zone of the CAF Champions League Competition.
Herbert Addo has also been tasked to assess the Hearts squad to determine if the team should partake in next year’s CAF Confederations Cup.
Addo, who led Aduana Stars to the Premier League title in the year 2010, is expected to submit his transfer request on Monday after which he will submit the list of players he intends to offload in the off season. Hearts say they will offload 16 players and bring in only 4 new faces.
