The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Ohene Ntow has cautioned members of the party with personal and secret agenda to reconsider their stance and move with the party for progress.
He said the party would not encourage members to pursue their personal interests to discredit the image of the party.
Nana Ohene Ntow was addressing members of the Tema East Constituency of the NPP at a meeting to address issues that had tended to divide members.
The constituency had two executives with one headed by Mr. Ken Oben-Fosu and another by Mr. Anim Addo.
Nana Ohene Ntow said Mr Obene Fosu's executive members, who were legally elected, had been the recognized one.
He said Mr. Anim Addo's team was secretly elected in the house of the Mr. Ishmael Ashitey, the MP for Tema East, in November last year.
"To ensure fairness and for sanity to prevail, henceforth Mr. Anim Addo's executive has been dissolved because their election was totally illegitimate."
As a result of the dissolution, Mr. Sammy Crabbe, the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the party, swore four people into office.
They are Mr. Issa Alhassan, Second Vice Chairman, Mr. Eric Tedeku, Organiser, Ms Naomi Biney, Women's Organizer and Mr. Daniel Tetteh Cobblah, Youth organizer.
Nana Ohene Ntow appealed to members of the party to adhere to laid down procedure to address their concerns rather than resort to adhoc strategies that had the tendency to divide their front.
He appealed to the breakaway group to re-unite with the others to enable the constituency to retain its seat in the 2008 elections.
Nana Ohene Ntow said should the breakaway faction remain adamant with their stand, the party's disciplinary procedure would be applied.
