A consultative forum on the use of Ghana's expected oil revenue has been put on hold after the team of experts leading the forum were involved in an accident.
Joy News sources say all the affected officials of the Ministry of Finance have been treated and discharged.
The experts were on their way to Wa for the Upper West Regional edition of the forum when the accident occurred.
The consultative forum is expected to resume in Accra next week.
According to Jacob Abebrese, a medical doctor with the Wa General Hospital, the victims were examined and x-rayed.
“We detected that one of them had a fracture of bent bone, what we called the clavicle, even though we can do general treatment we think the orthopaedic surgeon will be a better expert on that.”
He added that psychologically, given the way the accident happened, he was sure the vicitms were traumatized.
