An Ahanta Youth Group, One Ayindaa has congratulated the Paramount Chief of Upper Dixcove, Obrempon Hima Dekyi XIV on his 5th anniversary of the coronation.
The Group’s President, Michael Nyarku in a statement described the chief as one of the progressive traditional leaders in the Ahanta hence, must be celebrated as such.
“You have brought a new sense of pride in chieftaincy in Ahanta and it is our hope that other traditional leaders are encouraged to join stakeholders like yourself in moving the course of One Ayindaa forward,” he said.

With the looming extinction of the Ahanta culture, Mr Nyarku was optimistic the unerring support from the Obrempon Hima Dekyi XIV will resuscitate the rich culture of the Ahanta people.
