One person has died with five others in critical condition after an articulated truck run into one of the tollbooths on the Tema motorway on Monday.
According to an eyewitness, Ransford Odio Tetteh the tipper truck driver who was dozing behind the steering first hit one of the cleaners of the tollbooth who is said to have hearing and speech impairment.

The truck also run over his legs.

The speeding truck then hit the back of a salon vehicle that had stopped to pay a toll and later drove into the tollbooth destroying it immediately.


Tema Regional MTTD Commander, Chief superintendent William Asante tells Kwesi Parker Wilson, the police are on the ground to investigate the incident.
