Ghana midfielder Opoku Agyemang has started training with the ball again as he continues his long road back to full fitness.
The Qatar based player suffered a cruciate ligament injury in an Asian Champions League game in February that crushed his 2010 World Cup hopes.
But he begun training again on Sunday and says he is now looking forward to playing again in a months time.
"I am delighted to be training again because it has been a difficult period for me in professional terms," Agyemang who has already sat out eight months told KickOffGhana, "Now I want to put all my effort into the recovery and come back at my absolute best."
Agyemang's immediate priority is to get back into reckoning for club side Al-Saad and later the senior national side the Black Stars for whom he had made steady progress before the injury.
