Management committee member of the Black Stars, Wilfred Osei, believes calls by Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe to be axed as national team coach are rather unfair.
The former FA chairman has called for the head of the Israeli stating that he has nothing to offer the country.
But in a sharp contrast, the Tema Youth boss believes the slump of the team is beyond technical and tactical deficiencies.
In his view, the impasse between the Ministry and Football Association have affected the psychology of the players.
“Traditionally, you might draw on the last four matches to draw the conclusion that you have not had a good run for the team so it is proper you sack the coach,” he told Joy Sports.
“Are you saying that if you don’t get the result from the game, it is purely the making of the coach?”
“There are so many factors that go into a game and Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe is fully aware of that.”
“Have you asked the impact the impasse between the FA and Ministry is having on the team? If players are invited for a game and you are so demoralized to the extent that the tickets the players bought for a game have not been refunded to them, how will they feel in terms of their state of mind.”
“He knows psychologically how these boys prepare for games so it will be unfair for you to conclude that because we don’t have the results we can blame the boys for that.”
Osei Palmer and the Black Stars management team were reported to have met with Avram Grant after Ghana's draw with South Africa.
