Some patrons of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital fear they could contract infections as a result of the infirmary’s dirty environment.
The Surgical Medical Emergency ward of the hospital, Joy FM’s Beatrice Adu reported has severe sanitation issues with stagnant water and a cubicle housing plastic wastes.
Relatives of patients told Beatrice that they could no longer stand the stench emanating from the gutters because it poses serious health threat on their lives.
Beatrice took a trip to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
