Palb Pharmaceuticals Limited on Thursday, donated Liquid Crystal Digital (LCD) Projector worth GH¢1,800 to the Dental, Ear, Nose and Throat (DENT) Directorate of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi.
The donation was in response to an appeal made by the Directorate to the company.
Presenting the equipment, Mr Kwame Boateng Atuahene, Medical Communications Officer of the Company, said the donation was part of the company's corporate social responsibilities to the communities in which it operated.
He said the projector would help facilitate teaching and training of nurses and doctors at the Directorate and the hospital in general to enable them provide quality service to the people and pledged the continued support of the Company to the hospital to ensure quality health care delivery.
Madam Patience Yeboah Ampong, Director of Nursing Services at KATH, who received the equipment, thanked the Company for the gesture and said the projector would help facilitate training at the hospital and appealed to other corporate bodies to come to the aid of the hospital.
