The victim was spotted loitering around Kwahu Motors, an auto mechanic shop at Russia in Dansoman.
He was suspected of stealing car batteries that were parked at the shop for repairs.
According to his attackers, the area has become target of armed robbers which has prompted them to be on high alert so entertaining strange visitors on their compound is not tolerated.
After subjecting the victim to this barbaric treatment, nobody could show evidence of what the suspect was stealing at the shop and therefore had to leave him to his fate.
