The Head of Corporate Affairs at the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), Carmen Bruce-Annan is one of five newly elevated leaders at the Agape House New Testament Church, East Legon.

The former Head of Brand and Corporate Communication at Vodafone Ghana, was ordained as a Deacon together with  Lawyer Andrew Obeng Apau.

Also ordained as Pastors, were Messrs Michael Adu Gyamfi, Prince Henry Asare, Ebenezer Asiamah and Ms. Sheila Joy Whitcomb.

The rest are Mrs. Adeline Mensah and Eryka Obike.

Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Pastor, Rev. Richard Whitcomb advised the newly ordained ministers to see themselves as God’s special servants and be good models for the church in order to handle turbulence.

He urged them to continue to follow Christ and spend time looking at Him, listening to Him, learning from Him, living like Him.

Agape House 

Rev. Whitcomb and a team of dedicated Pastors began praying for the fulfillment of this vision in early 2007. The church held outreach meetings during the months of June, July, and August. 

Its first Sunday morning service was held the first Sunday in September 2007 at Rev. Whitcomb’s home. The church's first public service was held at the Miklin Hotel, Shiashie, on September 9th, 2007.
 
In May 2008, Agape House launched a second Sunday morning service to handle the growing crowd. In March 2009, the church moved the Sunday services to the Mensvic Grand Hotel on Lagos Avenue. It again launched a second Sunday morning service in August of 2009.
