Former Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspurs defender Sol Campbell and Black Stars former captain, Steven Appiah have paid a curtesy call on former president Jerry John Rawlings.
The call is to formally to invite the former president to two matches in support of peace which will be held in Kumasi and Accra on June 8 and 11 this year.
The former president commended the duo and their friends for considering the idea.
