All is set for the burial of late Paramount Chief of Busunu, Busunwura Numgbanso II, whose sudden demise occurred in the late hours of Tuesday at the Damongo Hospital in the West Gonja district of Savannah Region.
About 25 sub-Chiefs and family heads of the traditional area have gathered at his palace to ensure that the late chief is buried according to the traditions and culture of Busunu.
A spokesperson for the chiefs, Langateri-wura Salifunu Sulemana said people responsible for the burial of the late paramount chief have assumed their role to ensure that he is laid to rest according to the rites and customs of the Gonja tradition.

The late Busunuwura Nungbanso II who is also known in private life as Larseni Mahama ascended to the Busunu skin in August 1996 and has reigned for 23 years joining few other paramount chiefs whose reigns have survived beyond two years as many are alleged to have survived for six months or a year.
