The Peoples’ National Convention joins all Ghanaians at home and abroad to mourn the passing on unto glory of the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency, Professor John Evans Atta Mills.
The party conveys its deepest affection to the wife and family at this great loss of a husband, father and loved elder statesman in their family. The PNC assures the family that in this moment of their grief, the prayers of the party and entire Ghanaians are with them as this tragedy afflicts us all as a country.
We are most convinced that the nation is thinking of them. Whilst this is a sad reminder of the truism that “human beings blossom and flourish like flowers, and in a moment wither and perish”, we implore Ghanaians to remain steadfast and hopeful.
We shall pull through together with the help of God.
God bless our homeland Ghana, and make her great and strong, as our president would fondly say. May President Mills’ soul rest in perfect peace.
Bernard Mornah
General Secretary
