The Police at Agogo in the Ashanti Region are holding a woman in her late 20s, Nana Tiwaa for allegedly killing a 60-year-old farmer at Juansa.
Reports indicate that the victim, Afia Brago, a farmer, was trying to prevent the suspect from smoking Indian hemp in her house.
She allegedly knocked Afia Brago’s head with a stone and later a pestle. The victim died later at the Agogo hospital.
Daniel Kwakye, an eyewitness, told Joy News that the deceased had insisted she won’t allow the suspect to come into her house to smoke Indian hemp with a tenant of the house.
He added that, Nana Tiiwaa got angry and pelted stones at the victim destroying some properties in the process.
After that, she hit the victim with a pestle who instantly collapsed and was rushed to a clinic in Juansa. She was later referred to the Agogo hospital where she died, Daniel Kwakye narrated.
