The Police CID will investigate twenty seven former Niger Delta militants arrested in Takoradi in the Western Region on Wednesday.
The suspects who are on a training program by the NVTI were arrested for allegedly assaulting their leader and vandalizing hotel property.
Police Commander DCOP Hamidu Mahama tells Joy News those who will be cleared of any offence will be allowed to continue their training.
He said all the 27 are being conveyed to Accra for further investigations into the matter.
DCOP Hamidu Mahama said he has also met officials of the Nigerian High Commission to help with investigations.
