The Police in the Eastern Region have arrested an officer and his accomplice for attempting to fraudulently enlist people into the service.
The two men allegedly duped eight prospective applicants.
Each paid GH¢700 to the accused who promised to put them on a protocol list of applicants.
The police would, however, not disclose their identities for security reasons.
Head of public relations at the Eastern Regional police command Chief Inspector Yaw Nketiah Yeboah told Joy News they are investigating the matter.
