Director of Police Operations DCOP John Kudalor has announced new directive to re-post police officers who have been stationed for more than five years at one place.
Speaking during an interaction with police personnel in Wa, Mr Kudalor said, it has come to the attention of the police hierarchy that some officers have been at the same post for over 15 years and have refused transfers to places they consider deprived.
This, according to him, will no longer be the order of the day.
