Premier Care Limited and residents of Labone in Accra, on Sunday launched the Premier Neighbourhood Development and Charity Foundation Fund to improve the standards of living of people in Labone and its environs.Residents including deprived children and orphans of Labadi, Cantonments, Labone and Osu all suburbs of Accra, would receive support in the area of education and healthcare.Mr Noah Acolatse, Chief Executive Officers of Premier Care Limited, said corporate entities were obliged to support communities with social services, education and healthcare.He said “Time has come for companies located in the various communities to discharge their social responsibility to accelerate development since the people in the community serve as the backbone of these corporate bodies.”Mr Acolatse said the Company and the people had instituted other programmes such as naming of streets, Easter Hymns festival, which sought to unite residents, health walk and a news letter that would serve as the mouthpiece of the residents of the area.Source: GNA
