President Mills has revoked the appointments of four municipal and district chief executives.
The four have been asked to hand over to their regional ministers.
The sacked chief executives are Thomas Osie Bonsu, Asante Akim North, Thomas Kwakwah, Ahafo Ano South, and Sherif Nii Otoo Dodoo, Ga South. The fourth person Kwadjo Osei Asibey, Sunyani West, has been asked to resume work at the Ghana Education Service as a director.
A statement signed by the Local Government Minister Samuel Ofosu Ampofo did not assign reasons for the dismissals of the municipal and district chief executives.
