President of the Musicians Union of Ghana, (MUSIGA) Alhaji Sidiku Buari, has commended all musicians in the country for their hard work and commitment which earned the music industry success this year.
The commendation is contained in a press release in which the Musiga President also appealed to all musicians in the country and Ghanaians living abroad to prepare fully for the coming year (2007) as the nation prepares to celebrate it’s 50th anniversary.
AIhaji Sidiku Buari urged musicians to ensure that they display the Ghana’s rich cultural heritage through music to the rest of the world.
He also reminded them that Ghana is the gateway to the rest of Africa and lies in the centre of the equator is going to be championing African Excellence.
The MUSIGA President wished all Ghanaians, especially musicians a happy and prosperous New Year.
