The Chief Executive Officer of the Channel of Blessing Ministry, Princess Asie Ocansey, who was allegedly engaged in human trafficking, has been acquitted and discharged of all the charges.
She was arrested for allegedly recruiting young Ghanaian women and men to work in Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia as domestic servants and butchers.
But a Circuit Court presided over by Justice Sedina Agbemava, discharged her of all the charges of human trafficking and fraud.
The court held that “The prosecution has been unable to lead an iota of evidence that a prima facie case has been made out against the accused.”
