Prophet Danso of the Action Faith Chapel International prophesied my time in Parliament, the Keta legislator has said.
Speaking on JoyNews as part of the analysis on the NDC primaries Saturday, Richard Quashigah said his intention was to remain the propaganda secretary of the NDC but a prophecy from Action changed that.
“I came to parliament not through my own volition but through prophecy. But at action chapel Duncan Williams prayed with me and said I should see prophet Danso. That was when I was going to contest for propaganda secretary, he told Roland Walker, host of the programme.
According to him during prayers, the prophet said, “I see you driving frequently on the Ada road.”
“Are you from Keta,” the prophet asked.
The Prophet proceeded to inform him that it is the Lord's will for him to be in Parliament on the ticket of Keta constituency for a reason and a purpose.

The country's largest opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC), is voting to elect its parliamentary candidates for the 2020 elections.
Some 524 aspirants are gunning to become Parliamentary Candidates of the NDC across 157 constituencies.
However, Richard Quarshigah will not be contesting the Keta seat for the third time.
According to him, he made it known “right from the word go in 2011” that he was not going to contest beyond two terms.
“ I said that on a number of stations that I was seeking to do two terms. And being a man of my words and very principled for that matter, I decided to keep to that,” he said
He added that “I am not your normal African politician. No need to cling on to power. You may say Parliament is juicy but it is also hard work. It is a job that is psychologically tasking," he explained his decision.
He said God was sending him to parliament for a reason and a purpose.
“That has been done and I must live within the remit of God’s destiny for me,” Richard Quarshigah said.
