Justice Radio, a local radio station based in Tamale in the Northern Region and Joy FM’s affiliate station has been shut down by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Thursday over non-payment of taxes.
The station is said to have defaulted in its tax payments to an undisclosed amount necessitating the closure.
Management of the station said they were as of midday, Thursday, in the process of paying the outstanding amount and expressed transmission will be resumed by the close of the day.
