The Ghana Railway Development Authority has begun investigations into a train accident that claimed one life Monday.
The Accra-Tema train crushed an unidentified man to death at the Accra Breweries Limited area.
An eyewitness said the victim who had parts of his body severed may not have heared the horn of the oncoming train.
The Acting Chief Executive of the Ghana Railway Development Authority, Emmanuel Opoku said investigations will be conducted into the accident to inform policies that will avoid future accidents.
The Railway boss said his outfit will soon carry out the demolition of structures close to the railway lines to avoid such accidents.
