Negotiations between the Ghana Football Association and Black Stars head Coach Milovan Rajevac for the extension of his contract have stalled.
This is ostensibly because of a new wage demand by the Serbian trainer.
Milovan’s contract will expire at the end of this month and already talks have begun for extension for four years.
His performance over the last few years and the recently-ended World Cup is one of the key factors that informed the FA’s decision to keep him.
FA Vice President Fred Pappoe tells Joy Sports the negotiations will soon be completed.
“We haven’t finalised it yet. We had an agreement in principle on extending the contract for four years.
“…We started the negotiations on Saturday. It was quite healthy and positive but we didn’t finalise it. I am sure after the game in South Africa we would continue.
“We want to complete it at the end of this month,” he hinted.
