Eastern regional Minister Victor Smith has warned former president Rawlings not to harass President Mahama and his government appointees like he did during President Mill’s tenure.
Mr. Rawlings was one of late President Mills’ avowed critics calling his government weak and some of his ministers mediocre.
According to him, the former President should use the appropriate channel to address any problem he may have with President Mahama and his government officials.
Former President Rawlings was critical of the NDC under the leadership of late President Mills.
In an interview with Citi News, Mr. Smith who was once Spokesperson for Mr. Rawlings asked him not to pretend he knows it all.
“I will only pray and hope that he doesn’t engage us in what happened in the last four years; taking on and literally harassing government.”
“I really pray and hope that it wouldn’t happen with the John Mahama administration,” he added.
