Spanish club Real Zaragoza have completed the permanent signing of Ghanaian midfielder Yussif Saidu after his impressive start to the season.
The 20-year-old joined the Spanish second tier side side on loan from Dansoman XI Wise but has now earned a five-year contract following a string of strong performances.
Saidu, who spent last season with Zaragoza’s youth setup and Deportivo Aragón, broke into the first team towards the end of the 2024/25 campaign. His development continued during pre-season, where he caught the attention of the senior technical staff and has since made eight appearances this season.
“Yussif Saidu has now committed to Real Zaragoza for the remainder of this season and four more years. The club congratulates him on this important step in his career. We’re still together, Saidu!” the club said in a statement confirming the deal.
