Renault Trucks and its for local dealer SSP held the maiden edition of the Renault Trucks Ghana Awards to reward its customers at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City.
The company rewarded best practices in the transport industry such as road safety, fuel consumption, maintenance as well as limiting the impact of transport activities on the environment.
It was also the opportunity to exhibit the robustness of the Renault K and C range as well as showcase the efficient maintenance solutions provided by SSP to the transporters industry in the country.
The program was held in partnership with Societe Generale Ghana which has introduced attractive finance solutions for those interested in obtaining the vehicles.
In all, a total of nine companies received awards of different categories with the highest award of honour to J.K. Horgle Transport.

Award of the year: Best increase in RT Fleet - Angel Group of Companies (Adonko Bitters)
In his acceptance speech, J. K. Horgle, known for his large LOVELY fleet, commended the durability of Renault Trucks. He lauded their provision of genuine parts to support the maintenance and quality of service solutions.
He added that it has been worthwhile adding Renault Trucks to his fleet.
With 15 years of operation in the country and a network of four branches covering Ghana, SSP has established a strong reputation of efficiency by supporting key operators in various important sectors of our economy such as transport of cocoa, bauxite, fuel haulage, port operations, mining etc
SSP exhibited for the first time the new Renault Trucks K 460 X’TREM to the guests at the ceremony.
Several documentaries were shown about the success story of Renault Trucks in Africa and to emphasize the efficiency of the new range.
