Police at Ashaiman are yet to retrieve a ballot box that was allegedly smuggled into a hotel early Sunday.
A team of police and military officials are said to have mounted a search through the hotel – Queens Hotel – for the ballot box.
Eyewitnesses told correspondents of Accra-based Peace FM that a man who was on motorbike is believed to have entered the hotel with the ballot box.
They could not tell where he may have taken the ballot box from.
Bystanders raised an alarm when they saw him pick the box which sat on the carrier of his Yamaha motorbike.
