WBA/WBO world super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (13-0, 8 KOs) scored a one-sided twelve round unanimous decision over Joseph “King Kong” Agbeko (29-5, 22 KOs) on Saturday night at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The technically superior Rigondeaux completely shut down Agbeko and won 120-108 on all cards.Judges Eugene Grant (120-108), Ron McNair (120-108) and Robin Taylor (120-108) all had Rigondeaux winning every round.
The King Kong lost his IBF and WBC Silver Bantamweight bout to Abner Mares in 2011 and has since struggled to get a shot at the International stage.
He recorded a 12 round Unanimous decision over Luis Melendez in March this year to secure the IBO Bantamweight title
