Ghanaian high jumper Rose Amoanimaa Yeboah was the star of the show as she dominated headlines at the 49th Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) Awards.
The 23-year-old claimed top prizes at the event as she won the Female Athlete of the Year and Sports Personality of the Year titles.
On the same night, Barcelona B's Abdul Aziz Issah took home the Prospect of the Year and Male Footballer of the Year awards.
The 49th SWAG Awards was held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre.
The awards scheme, which is the longest-running event in the country, was held to award sportsmen and women who contributed immensely and brought honour to the country in the year 2024.
