Former Ghana goalkeeper Sammy Adjei has agreed a two-year deal with local side Hearts of Oak.
According to the club’s official newspaper, the 29-year-old has agreed personal terms with the club after disagreements over his financial package stalled a much-publicized switch last term.
Adjei is making a return to competitive football after two years of clublessness.
His return is seen by many as very timely as the country has been battling for a second top class goalkeeper for the senior national team the Black Stars.
But he would face stiff opposition from youngster Daniel Adjei and Hapoel Tel Aviv-bound Stephen Ahorlu.
He was second choice gloves man for Ghana at the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on home soil.
