Apostle Schambach Amaniampong, Leader of the Christian Redemption International Ministry at the weekend advised organisers of the 2008 African Cup of Nations to robe in divine intervention to clench the success that the country is anticipating.
He noted that even though Government and other stakeholders are investing into sports and other facilities that will ensure the needed accomplishments,Ghanaians have failed to take note that the devil is at work and could use diabolical means such as terrorism to disrupt the historic event.
Apostel Amaniampong stressed the need for the organisers to engage the services of 'Prayer Warriors' at vantage points to pray against any demonic acts.
Apostle Amaniampong said he had personally initiated such prayer sessions and called for the co-operation of the Sports Ministry and the Local Organising Committee of CAN 2008 to promote a God inspired tournament.
