Chief Executive Officer of the Salt and Light Ministries, Madam Joyce Aryee, says the true test of womanhood is when challenges beckon.
Quoting Eleanor Roosevelt [wife of former US president, Theodore Roosevelt], who said "a woman is like a tea bag; you can’t tell how strong she is until you put her into water", the former Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber of Mines noted that women function better when they are under pressure.
She challenged Ghanaian women to show true beauty even when they are aging with deteriorating physical looks.
She was the guest speaker at the Special Mother’s Day service held at the Restoration Temple of the Osu International Central Gospel Church on Sunday.

It was a service to honour mothers, and mothers were fed with spices of great music, testimonies, choreography and a magnificent display of poetry that left many eyes laden with tears of gratitude.
As if to tell mothers how grateful they were for the unadulterated breast milk given them over the past few years, the little angels of the church put up a faultless, breathtaking, choreography performance that left the congregation thrilled and stunned at the same time.
The angels hardly missed a beat or a step in the performance of the sweet mother choreography display, much to the amazement of the congregation. For were kids their sizes not permitted to commit minor blunders?
Then came a powerful song ministration from the Restoration Temple Choir, which serenaded the congregation with their majestic rendition of the now popular Gospel song 'Oye'.
In her Mother’s Day speech, from far away Canada, Mrs. Celestine Smith, wife of the head pastor, Ashford Smith, admonished women to be diligent and seek the face of God at all times.
The African Heritage, a choreography group in the church, then dazzled mothers with a mixture of poetry, drama and music in a way that held the congregation spell bound.
In the performance, a rude errant son, who scorned his mother was reminded of how true and faithful the love of a mother is. He reunited with his mother in a thoroughly emotional spectacle.

In her all white apparel, the evergreen consummate politician, advocate, minister of the gospel, Ms. Joyce Aryee, admonished women to be mothers even when they do not have their own biological children.
"Whether you are a biological mother or not God sees you as one," she stated.
While expressing concern about the increasing commercialization of Mother's Day, she was quick to add that it is biblical to honour mothers as Jesus Christ did to Mary.
Speaking on the theme: "Order in the life of a Christian mother," Ms. Aryee said women must put God at the centre of their pursuit of order.
Citing the biblical Adam and Eve, who disrespected God's order, the Salt and Light CEO said "we become stupid when we decide to live outside God's order."
"We cannot say we love God and not do his bidding," she reiterated.

Ms. Aryee said a godly woman must seek God first, speak faithfully and show true beauty even when the body deteriorates.
"Stay humble and be constantly aware of pride and selfishness," she cautioned, adding. "being humble gets us exalted".
The day was crowned with lots of merry making with the church giving out gifts to all mothers of the church.
