SIC Insurance Company is re-aligning its operations as part of its drive to become a triple A rated insurance company.
Managing Director, Benjamin Acolatse says corporate, individual and brokerage customers of SIC would within the next two months be assigned to dedicated departments to cater for specific needs.
He says the company is assessing its weaknesses to become a client-focused organization.
Mr. Acolatse announced this at an event in Kumasi to unveil SIC’s current A.A. rating in claims paying by the Global Credit Rating Company of South Africa.
He said the company is moving from being a product-centered compartmentalization to becoming friendlier, more customer or client focused.
Head of Corporate Planning, Isaac Tettey said SIC’s ‘AA’ rating reflects the company’s dominance in the Ghanaian insurance industry and its progressive improvement in underwriting profitability.
