The Ministry of Energy is putting up a programme to educate Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs) on how to bid for projects and sourcing for funding for projects in the oil and gas industry.
The programme, which is aimed at equipping the SMEs with information on how to benefit from the oil find and how to source capital for their projects, would be rolled out by the Ministry in August.
Ms Afua Amissah, Project Co-ordinator of the Local Content of the Ministry of Energy, said this at a public forum on the road show on the local content and local participation policy on the oil and gas operations in the country in Koforidua.
She said the programme would be organized in all the regions to enable many SMEs to be informed about the project.
