SAFA have announced they will name the new Bafana Bafana coach on 26 July.
“The position of the senior men’s national team needs to be ratified by the SAFA NEC; therefore, the long-awaited announcement of the new Bafana Bafana coach will be made immediately after the NEC meeting next Saturday,” said SAFA CEO Denis Mumble in a statement released on Tuesday afternoon.
Speculative reports have linked Giovanni Trappatoni, Stephen Keshi, Ruud Krol, Herve Renard, Shakes Mashaba and Carlos Queiroz to the role amongst others since Gordon Igesund's departure was confirmed.
