Sporting Mirren are finally doomed for relegation after a one season campaign.
The premier league debutantes received their final push out of the elite division after rejuvenated Kumasi Asante Kotoko beat them 1-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium yesterday.
Second-placed Kotoko are now a point shy of Hearts. The Phobians need a win in today’s clash with Wa All Stars at the Ohene Djan Stadium to keep their title dream alive.
In other results Arsenals home invincibility was brought to bear as they drew 1-1 with King Faisal at Berekum. Hasaacas continued their anti-relegation fight with a win over rivals Eleven Wise.
Tema Youth were held 1-1 by Liberty Professionals in Tema while RTU beat Chelsea of Bechem 2-0. The Kessben-All Blacks match at Abrankese which was rained off and will be played this afternoon.
