The State Protocol Office has directed individuals and organizations that want their tributes to be included in the official funeral brochure of the late President Evans Atta Mills to submit it by close of Wednesday August, 1, 2012.
According to a statement signed by the Chairman of the President Mills’ Funeral Planning Committee, Kofi Totobi Quakyi, the deadline for submission applied to both local and international organizations as well.
The statement released Saturday also indicated that Tuesday, July 31st 2012 marks a week since the passing away of President Mills and as such Regional Ministers, District/Municipal Chief Executives in collaboration with various party executives are expected to make arrangements for the observance of the customary one week mourning.
The family has slated August 8-10 for the funeral of the departed President.
The late President would be buried at the Flagstaff House, Accra on Friday, August 10.
