A student of the Bolgatanga Senior High School has had his hearing impaired after he was repeatedly slapped by one of his teachers.Samuel Atanga alleges a physics teacher slapped him several times in the dining hall for attempting to take food outside.Doctors in Bolgatanga and at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital have since confirmed that the boy is suffering from perforation of the eardrum and needs urgent attention.Master Atanga says since the incident neither the school nor the teacher is accepting responsibility for his illness.Neither the teacher nor the school authorities at the Bolgatanga Senior High School were available for comment.But the district directorate of education is said to be investigating the matter.Source: Joy News/Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
