The Awomefia Togbe Sri III on behalf of the 36 states of Anlo has expressed his condolence to the family of the late President John Evans Atta Mills.
In a statement the Awomefia expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family, especially Mrs Naadu Mills.
Togbe Sri described the late President Mills as a great man full of knowledge, discipline, sincerity and humility.
The statement said Ghanaians should use this period of mourning for self introspection and unite for a common good.
The statement also congratulated John Dramani Mahama for his new role as President of the Republic of Ghana and urged him to work hard in order to transform the country for accelerated growth.
