Former Medeama coach, Tom Strand, will begin work officially with Accra Great Olympics as the new head coach for the Premier League side.
The Swede is reported to have agreed a two year contract with the club as the Accra giants aim to improve their league performances.
The 2015 MTN FA Cup of the year will replace Godwin Attram whose position had been under scrutiny for several weeks with the latter being reassigned as the assistant.
This will be Strand’s third job at the helm of a Premier League club after coaching Bechem United and Medeama.
