The Chief Security Officer of real estate developer Trasacco has been found dead.
The lifeless body of John Stevenson Akakpo, 49, is said to have been found on Saturday at Agyeikojo near Ashaiman on a site being developed by the company.
Family members of the deceased say he had gone missing on Friday.
The Ashaiman police have confirmed the incident and say they are investigating. Although the police have yet to establish the actual cause of death, preliminary checks indicate he was shot in the chest.
Henryford Akakpo, a brother of the deceased told Joy News he believes his brother was shot by land guards. He alleged the land over which his brother kept watch was in dispute.
According to Henryford, a gun was discovered by the body of his dead brother, while his two mobile phones and a pen were in his pocket.
