The leadership of the Trades Union Congress is today meeting Vice-President John Mahama on proposals to mitigate the impact of the recent fuel price hikes on businesses and the general public.
Today’s meeting is a follow up to an earlier one held again with the Vice President on a number of developments in the economy and its effect on workers.
Secretary General Kofi Asamoah told Joy Business the TUC will be seeking answers from the Vice President on a number of issues including the new minimum wage and the impact the NPA’s hedging of fuel prices has had on the economy.
“We will be asking for full disclosures on the TOR (Tema Oil Refinery) debt,” he said.
