The United Cadre Front (UCF) has issued a statement in Accra outlining the programme for the climax of this year's June 4th commemoration.
According to the National Chairman of the UCF, Mr P.K. Abonie, Friday the 4th of June will be marked by all adherents of the June 4 revolution in the Regions and Districts.
“As usual there will be the wreath laying ceremony at the Cenotaph, Flagstaff House Accra at 8 a.m. The activities of the day will be climaxed by a rally at the Police Park, Tamale, which will be addressed by the Former President, His Excellency Jerry John Rawlings.
“The UCF calls on all Ghanaians to rededicate themselves to the ideals of probity and accountability, decentralization and the empowerment of the masses, stressing that these ideals remain relevant and essential for national development and reconstruction under the Better Ghana Agenda.”
